I am losing faith - any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been trawling the forums looking for an answer but everyone seems to have been able to fix it by reinstalling the dll or some other way but none of these have worked for these. But when I do this, in design mode, there is now a smart tag which allows me to remove the extender which does nothing. To that of the standard control I want to extend, there is no error but no effect when I launch the page. If I drop the extender into the source view and manually add the TargetControlID The option to enable smart tags is greyed out. In design mode, there are no smart tags from which to choose 'Add Extender'. Tried to add an extender in every way I can think of.
